Weaning Your Baby

If it’s that time to start weaning your child off of breast milk here are some tips to make the transition easier. Experts suggest weaning your child at about 1-years-old. But some women choose to wait until their child is about two and a half or three

It’s important to wean your child slowly and gradually start shortening the length of your feeds. Then cut out one feed no less than every three days. Finally, only offer your breast when your child asks for it and be sure to provide supplements when your child is hungry.
