Child Nutrition

Motherhood can be challenging for new moms after pregnancy. But choosing the right solid foods to include in your baby’s diet shouldn’t be.

Just remember when you pick solid foods for your baby to include foods from all groups of the food pyramid, including veggies, fruits, meats, dairy, and healthy grains.

Your baby should be ready to eat her first solid food when she reaches six months or even as early as four months old. This becomes the best time for you to introduce healthy foods and eating habits in your baby’s diet and daily routine. Babies also need the right amount of nutrition to grow and develop into bright and healthy toddlers. This why checking food nutrition in your baby’s diet and helping them develop healthy eating habits is essential.

To make sure your baby is getting the right amount of nutrition he needs for his health, watch our Pregnancy Show videos on Child Nutrition.

These educational videos on Child Nutrition provide new moms and moms-to-be with informative tips on how to choose the right foods by spilling the facts on food nutrition, and how to make mealtimes less stressful by showing ways to bond with your child during feeding times and while you cook meals.
